Valentine's Day 2018 : I Really Lilac You <3

You know that it’s that day of the year again when many of your classmates start to stream into the lecture hall with flowers in hand and chat excitedly about their date plans happening after lecture. If you’re one of them who had a date on Valentine’s Day this year, lucky you! If you didn’t go on any dates this Valentine’s …well, don’t be disheartened!

I Really Lilac You! <3 is a Valentine’s Day initiative organised by SIM-RMIT Student Council. The purpose of the event is to show our appreciation to our loved ones, including our friends!

Did you know...

This is SIM-RMIT Student Council’s third series event. A Lilac For You happened in 2016, followed by I really Lilac You Too! in 2017.

I Really Lilac You! <3 pre-sales were held on the 6th and 7th of February 2018, and the event officially commenced on the 13th and 14th of February. Red and pink roses individually wrapped, mini chocolate hampers as well as greeting cards were sold at affordable prices. For those who wanted to surprise their loved ones or who were too shy to give a gift to their secret admirer in person, could opt for the delivery service by our dedicated councillors.

This year, the sale of roses were astounding as 470 stalks of roses were sold - making the event a huge success!

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Events 01 for organising the event and everyone else who have supported us by spreading the love around.
