Valentine's Day 2019: Baby You Took My Breath Away

14th of February, it is the special day to express one's love for another, and for celebrating affection and friendship. Hands held for the first time, feelings were confessed, and romance was in the air.

The SIM-RMIT Student Council organised event and sales: 2019 Valentine's Day Baby You Took My Breath Away, is targeted for everyone in the school. It is for the students who have been stressing out over assignment deadlines and had forgotten to prepare gifts for their significant others, the singles that are dying to confess their feelings, friends to display affection for each other, as well as sons and daughters to show appreciation for their parents.

Baby You Took My Breath Away pre-sales were held on the 8th and 11th of February 2019, while the event and actual sales officially commenced on the 13th and 14th of February at the Koi Pond. Individually wrapped roses, the all-time favourite: roses with baby breath bundle, and specially ordered bouquet as well as chocolates and gift cards were all sold during the event.

Special thanks to the events team for planning, executing and finally making the event a huge success! Also, a big shout-out to everyone who was involved in the rose de-thorning and wrapping process, those who helped out at the booth and of course, the flower boys and girls who ran all around the campus to promote the event.
