CAMP VLADA is our bi-annual 2days 1 night freshmen orientation camp, and is easily one
of RMITSC biggest events each semester. Through a whole host of fun and exciting camp
activities, we aim to integrate each and every freshman into RMIT, and make them feel like a
part of RMIT family from the first day.
What does “VLADA” stand for?
Vlada was derived from Bosnian word “Government”.
Background Story
Deception and illusion were used by the VLADA to deceive influential subjects into the
center of a giant labyrinth where they are destined to face their worst fears ever. The 4
greatest experiments - IIMBUSHU, KRAVA, TAHITI, SYMBIOT were formed to
subjugate their uprising. Possessing values of courage and faith, a fight for survival ensues to
vanquish the VLADA. Will they be able to break free from this seemingly bleak fate of theirs
or will they remain defeated and forever lose their influence?

Planning and organising “Camp Vlada” is a council effort, with a majority of the councillors
involved in one aspect or another. Each semester, the Orientation Planning Team (OPT)
oversees and executes the entire planning of the camp, as early as 2 months. This dynamic
committee is all in for walking uncharted grounds, daring to try out new and exciting
programmes all in a bid to give incoming freshmen a unique and unforgettable experience
unlike no other camp.
The Orientation Planning Team (OPT) of Camp Vlada would like to thank the freshmen and
councillors who helped in one way or another a successful one. This camp would not be
possible without each and every one of you. We hope through “Camp Vlada”, not only can
freshmen look forward to fun and games, but also forging genuine and lasting bonds of
friendships as they embark on their university journey.
